Trent WilsonAfter racing in Europe for six years, in 2006 I made the move to the States to race professionally. Although I had a great season I was keen to work hard on my weaknesses. My weaknesses were without a doubt my core strength and power.

After working with Jeb Stewart during the 06’ off season I started the 07’ season feeling stronger than ever. I totally changed my off the bike training and the old gym program went out the window. I felt stronger, looked smoother on the bike and apparently have put muscle on where I need to put muscle on, around my arse.

US racing is a lot different to Europe and with less hills and shorter distances there are more 20 up sprint finishes in the end. I can always finish around the top ten but I want to change that to top 5’s with this next found strength. Already a few top 10’s have rolled in with hopefully a lot more to come.

I was looking for a coach who could improve my training regime, help me reach my goals and keep me honest about my potential as a road racer. I was only in my second season of racing as a Cat 3 and my goal event was the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic, Women's Cat 3 race. I returned from the race with three (3) stage wins and a gold medal as the overall winner of the race. I even went on to win the overall at the Giro Di Cielo stage race the following week! All of this after being on the podium 12 out of 13 races leading up to it and a state Championship title!!!

My husband Randy, who also works with a coach, said to me one day, "Without direction you cannot find the treasure". Well, Jeb gave me the direction and I found a bigger treasure than I ever imagined.  It's been an amazing journey.

I haven't felt this good in years and I believe you've had a huge hand in this. I may have survived this past year without your help, but I've thrived with it. Thank you. Really. Thank you.

In the beginning stages of our working together, Jeb immediately impressed me with the comprehensive approach he used in his coaching. He is experienced in training with power training, strength and conditioning and nutrition, but most exciting of all, in the area of mental skills coaching, which he refers to as developing your "Inner Fitness".

Jeb introduced me to several new Inner Fitness development techniques. I once worked with a sports psychologist but the strategies and techniques that I learned from Jeb helped me more than anything I had tried before.  Best of all, I have been able to apply many of these techniques not only to my bike-racing, but also to life’s everyday challenges.

The 2007 season has ended, and I ended up winning the jersey in the masters nationals time trial, placed 2nd in the road race and won the BAR (Best All Around).

Jeb certainly exceeded my expectations and I’m looking forward to even more growth & success in 2008!

I’ve worked with Jeb for almost a year now and I’ve made more improvements during that time than all the previous four years of racing combined. My approach to cycling has become much more fun and as a result, my enjoyment of cycling and my life as a whole, has improved right along with my fitness.

Jeb provides a personalized approach to designing a training plan that’s adjusted constantly to my individual needs and characteristics as an athlete. These change almost constantly so it’s no small task. As we’ve gone along over the last year, Jeb has never failed to listen to what I’ve told him about my response to training and racing and adjusted things accordingly. My improvement wouldn’t have been a fraction of what it was otherwise.

As a triathlete, I greatly enjoyed working with Jeb.

His enthusiasm and sense of commitment really motivated me to seek to achieve my potential as an athlete.

I could not recommend Jeb any more highly.

In the beginning, I tried training myself using a well known and respected periodization model. After being yanked from my very first Cat 5 crit several years ago I decided to get help.

I was referred to Jeb and after our first conversation started working with him immediately. Besides the obvious fitness gains I needed, Jeb helped me improve in many other areas such as flexibility, eating properly, race tactics, the mental approach and more.

Whether you are new to training, like I was, or have worked with other coaches with mediocre results, Jeb will help you improve. I have had dramatic results working with Jeb and highly recommend working with him on a long term basis.

Jeb has a good blend of male and female qualities. Somehow he’s been able to combine the best of what we think of as male and the best of the female. He’s brave, he listens, he’s honest, he takes responsibility for himself, he’s empathetic. His emotional intelligence is on the genius level.

Some accomplished cyclists become coaches and then teach the one method that led them to success. I believe that Jeb’s educational background in exercise science as well as his experience in more than one sport give him a broad perspective from which to guide his athletes.

Jeb honors time-proven methods but at the same time he’s open to new ideas, and willing to try new things. Jeb will honor your goals, whether you’re racing across America or touring cross country.

After many years of trying to devise my own training and following the latest advice in the cycling magazines, I decided to hire a coach to take me to that next level in racing.

Jeb was that coach and expertly guided me to a new height in my racing fitness. Jeb not only gave me workouts to follow but also had tactical advice, nutritional tips and insight the metal side of the game.

Jeb's enthusiasm is contagious and this paid dividends in building my confidence. I never once doubted my fitness during the season to compete at the highest level.

I had almost given up hope of training without pain. I had visited doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists in the hope of finding a solution to my pain. None of them really addressed the primary problem and some of the doctors even told me that I should just live with the pain.

Jeb had more belief in my potential than I had in myself. This was evident to me after our first meeting. He approached this very methodically, did an evaluation and gave me exact recommendations as to what I need to do to address the pain. He has been respectful of my goals and constraints, extremely encouraging right through the season and has been open and honest in answering questions.

He has shown me a more effective approach to training and its been a pleasure working together.

While working with Jeb, I’ve been able to achieve goals that I know I would not of been able to working on my own. Not only was Jeb able to improve my physical fitness, but he spent time helping me develop my mental fitness too.

This is something I never thought of, working out my brain to become stronger and it has worked!!!

I would whole heartedly recommend Jeb and Endurofit to anyone seeking to improve their abilities.

Thanks for all the support this year on the bike. This weekend really felt great! I feel like I have arrived in cycling. It would have been really disappointing to not finish the race and would have made me feel feel like I didn’t deserve the upgrade. You have been telling me all year that I was a Cat. 2 but I thought you were just being nice. I feel like one now.

Who would have thought I would have finished in the top 25 in my first Pro1/2!

I’m am a firm believer in the theory that humans are bipartite creatures…that is…we are made up of “body and soul”. If true, it follows that in any HOLISTIC approach to human “performance”, attention must be given to BOTH the body and the soul as they are distinct but inseparable.

Now Jeb might use different words to describe this philosophy, but in my mind he embodies it. He ties everything together with a genuine caring and commitment to your success as a cyclist and a person.

Jeb is authentic. He really believes in you, before you’ve done anything to merit his confidence and I can tell you… that faith is contagious! Jeb is a great coach, but he is an even better person. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
