The Law of Attraction

Friday, November 24th, 2006

SUCCESS ATTRACTS SUCCESS AND FAILURE ATTRACTS FAILURE BECAUSE OF THE LAW OF HARMONIOUS ATTRACTION

In physics, positives attract negatives and vice versa, but in human relationships the opposite is true. Negative people attract only other negative people, while positive thinkers attract like-minded individuals. You will find that when you begin to achieve success more successes will follow. This is the law of harmonious attraction. When riches begin to come your way, you’ll be amazed how quickly they accumulate. Train your mind to visualize yourself acquiring a specific amount of wealth or achieving a certain goal-whatever you most desire. Then use self-suggestion to persuade your subconscious mind that you can achieve your goal, and put your plan into action. When you use the tools that you have at your disposal to prepare yourself for success and visualize yourself as having already reached your objective, you can achieve any reasonable goal that you set for yourself.

Planning

Thursday, November 16th, 2006

DRIFTING, WITHOUT AIM OR PURPOSE, IS THE FIRST CAUSE OF FAILURE.

Without a plan for your life, it is easier to follow the course of least resistance, to go with the flow, to drift with the current with no particular destination in mind. Having a definite plan for your life greatly simplifies the process of making hundreds of daily decisions that affect your ultimate success. When you know where you want to go, you can quickly decide if your actions are moving you toward your goal or away from it. Without definite, precise goals and a plan for their achievement, each decision must be considered in a vacuum. Definiteness of purpose provides context and allows you to relate specific actions to your overall plan.

Marietta Cyclo-Cross report

Tuesday, November 14th, 2006

After a long weekend which involved my teaching a 6 hour seminar and many hours of preparation leading up to it, I needed a break and figured I’d go out and enjoy watching a CX race in Marietta, GA.

Little did I know that i would be treated to such an exciting show. The course looked like a lot of fun and a good one for roadies and the weather was perfect, cold and dry. I was immediately envious of those racing as it whetted my appetite to start riding again this season.

As usual, the Travel Girls were in full force with Kim Sawyer beating her own team mate Kim Foland for a 1/2 finish for the team. The men’s A race did not disappoint either and Athens own Jacob Fetti rode like a man possessed and soloed away form the lead split of four which included Eric Murphy from Aerospace who bridged all the way from the back of the race to make the winning move and take 3rd.

Chalk another one up on my to do list. Man did that look like a lot of fun! Good job guys.

Master Mind Alliance

Monday, November 13th, 2006

UNLIMITED POWER MAY BE AVAILABLE WHEN TWO OR MORE PEOPLE COORDINATE THEIR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS IN A SPIRIT OF PERFECT HARMONY FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF A DEFINITE PURPOSE.

A Master Mind alliance involves two or more people working together in perfect harmony toward the attainment of a common purpose. Such a partnership creates a superpower that enables each of its members to do far more than either would have been able to achieve separately. Choose your Master Mind partners carefully. Align yourself with people whose strengths complement yours. If you are a right brain person, for example, a logically-driven left brain person may be a perfect counterbalance to your creative bent. Above all, choose to associate only with people who share your positive values and your commitment to similar levels of achievement.

The Next Level DVD Testimonial

Friday, November 10th, 2006

Joel Carlson of Missoula, Mont. sent us this testimonial to his experiences with The Next Level DVD.

“The number of strength-training programs on the market and presented in monthly multi-sport magazines is enough to confuse anyone. When I set out to revamp my training program last year at this time, I wanted a precise strength-training program that followed a structured, year-round plan that would complement my triathlon training and racing season, not just some random flavor-of-the-month exercises that led nowhere. I wanted something that allowed for an off-season, then started slowly and gradually built over the winter and early spring, finally backing off to a maintenance phase when my triathlon training was at its peak.I found exactly what I wanted in “The Next Level,” a program developed for multi-sport athletes by guys who obviously understand the needs of the multi-sport lifestyle.

I followed the program religiously last year and saw immediate results. I opened the 2006 race season with a personal-best time in a local sprint-distance race, followed that with a personal-best 4:50 half-Ironman two months later, then went under 10 hours at the 2006 Coeur d’Alene Ironman to qualify for Hawaii.

I believe the program prepared me physically during the stability and flexibility, strength and power phases, and then I was able to keep what I had gained while following the maintenance program.

I credit “The Next Level” for doing precisely that: Taking my triathlon performance to the next level!

Thanks Jeb and Reece.”

Why Fight?

Monday, November 6th, 2006

IF YOU CANNOT AGREE WITH OTHERS, YOU CAN AT LEAST REFRAIN FROM QUARRELING WITH THEM.

When you are involved in a dispute with someone else, it may be the only time doing nothing is better than doing something. There’s a practical reason for this: When you quarrel with others-even if you win the argument-you place a great deal of unnecessary stress upon yourself. It is impossible to maintain a Positive Mental Attitude when you allow negative emotions such as anger or hate to dominate your thoughts. No one can upset you or make you angry unless you allow them to do so. Instead of arguing with others, try asking non threatening questions such as: “Why do you feel this way? What have I done to make you angry? What can I do to help?” You may find that the entire situation has resulted from a simple misunderstanding that can be quickly rectified. Even if problems are more serious, your positive behavior will go a long way toward helping resolve them.
