Local Racers Do Well In First UCI Races of the Season
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007The CX season opened last weekend in the north west with back to back races in the Seattle area. The riders were out to start the season off fast and furious and enjoy the great weather while it lasts.
Local boy and new Endurofit athlete Michael Gallagher of the US Armed Forces Team and humble Portland legend, Erik Tonkin of the Kona Team and Sellwood Cycles take 10th and 9th respectively at the rist UCI races of the season.

Congrats to super stud Wendy Williams, also of Portland for taking the win on Saturday and for her and Sue Butler being on the podium on Sunday! Both women ride for River City Bicycles, and Sue was riding a different bicycle than her own after havig it stolen last week.
